Question: Have you ever encountered a stuck door? You’ve come home and put your key in but for whatever reason it just isn’t working? Or your car door freezes shut just when you prepare to head home after a long day’s work?
Entrance to our home or our vehicle is important. I’m confident that none of us would throw our hands up and say, “Well I guess I’m not getting in! Oh well!” No! We would do whatever is necessary to gain entrance to our home, to our vehicle. We’d call for a spare set of keys, we’d look for an open window, we’d kick the door down if necessary!
Let us approach prayer the same way! Perhaps you’ve been praying for a while and seeing no movement, yet you know you’ve got to see that door open. Don’t give up! Keep praying in faith!
Isaiah 62:6-7 says, “O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until He completes His work, until He makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.”
Let’s give the Lord no rest until He completes His work! Let’s pray fervently until we see the doors open that we know must open.
